Julie has been interested in music, theatre and performance all her life and this led to her first career as an actor. She has credits in film, stage and television including Blue Heelers and Neighbours and has appeared in several national television commercials. She credits her history as an actor as the source of her successful relocation to other sectors including business, health and education. The tools and skills honed from decades of artistic expression gave her a unique perspective on leadership, performance and creativity.

Julie holds a Diploma in Performing Arts (Acting) and is a qualified Diversional Therapist. For five years she conducted a sucessful drama program at an inner city primary school directing several operas and musicals. She has worked with the frail aged and has also held a lecturers position training lifestyle workers for Aged Care. She is qualified in Reiki and Aromatherapy and believes that individuals who can maintain a connection between their deepest yearnings and their daily lives are more balanced, productive and fulfilled.

For the last decade she has held several roles at a corporate level in the Retirement and Aged Care sectors and feels that the time has come to reconnect to her own creative life.

Julie joins My Music Tutor® as our specialist Early Childhood Educator and will be offering Kindermusik® programs in the second half of 2008.
